For The Watersheds Labyrinth, RZA was commissioned to create a distinct cover designs, representing a separate journey and world within the narrative. The cover translate the author’s bold, poetic storytelling into visual form, balancing minimalist clarity with surreal symbolism. Inspired by the novel’s tale of two celestial beings, or Orishas, trapped in human form, the designs explore themes of connection, transformation, and emergence, capturing the tension between their intimate union and the world’s impending upheaval. TWL cover reflects a unique artistic interpretation, inviting readers into the novel’s rich, otherworldly landscapes before they even turn the first page.
